SharePoint Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and manage SharePoint Online environments for optimal performance and security
• Create and manage SharePoint sites, libraries, lists, permissions, and content structures
• Use Power Automate, Power Apps, and SPFx to deliver customized solutions
• Plan and execute migrations from legacy SharePoint platforms to SharePoint Online
• Utilize tools like ShareGate or Metalogix for efficient content migration
• Validate and troubleshoot migration outcomes regarding data integrity and permissions
• Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to gather requirements
• Provide consultative advice on SharePoint architecture, integrations, and governance
• Develop and enforce governance models for content management and site usage
• Create and maintain technical and end-user documentation
• Perform ongoing support, patching, and upgrades

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of IT experience, or equivalent experience
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain a public trust clearance
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a SharePoint Engineer
• Expertise in SharePoint Online and migrations
• Proficiency in Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) and SPFx
• Strong understanding of Office 365 integrations including Teams, OneDrive, and Azure AD
• Excellent analytical and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Treasury or IRS systems
• Familiarity with NIST, FISMA, and FedRAMP compliance
