Social Media Manager

Responsibilities

• Own Netlify’s day-to-day social presence across X, LinkedIn, Bluesky, Discord, and other priority channels
• Transform product launches, feature updates, and community activity into engaging posts for developers
• Manage a content calendar balancing launches, education, and community moments
• Monitor the builder ecosystem to amplify developers and creators using AI tools
• Support community campaigns, contests, and events through social storytelling and live engagement
• Track and analyze social algorithms and performance metrics to improve reach and engagement
• Coordinate with Dev Advocates, Product, and Support teams to ensure timely and accurate public presence

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience managing social media for a technical, developer, AI, or product-led brand
• Experience managing high-volume brand handles including publishing, engagement, and reporting
• Technical fluency to understand product shipments and explain them to developers
• Dev-culture fluency and strong public judgment
• Strong operating habits regarding calendars, intake, and approvals
• Data-aware mindset with experience using engagement metrics to drive strategy
