Social Media Strategy Intern

MAXION is a dating app for accomplished professionals and successful individuals in the UAE. We believe matching doesn’t happen on a screen — it happens after a great date.

Responsibilities

• Build a clear social media content strategy including pillars, tone of voice, and cadence
• Create and publish content across Reels, Stories, Carousels, and Facebook Groups
• Coordinate simple phone-based shoots and edit short-form video
• Build community loops through polls, Q&As, and challenges
• Engage with comments and DMs following brand guidelines
• Track weekly performance metrics including reach, engagement, and conversion
• Run experiments on hooks, formats, and posting times

Requirements

• Deep understanding of Instagram and Facebook content best practices
• Ability to craft a premium, modern, and minimal aesthetic
• Strong copywriting skills for punchy hooks and emotionally intelligent captions
• Proficiency in short-form video editing tools like CapCut or Adobe Express
• Basic design skills using Canva or Figma
• Strong organizational skills using Notion or Google Sheets

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with photography or basic directing for UGC
• Experience working with creators or brand ambassadors
• Familiarity with Meta Business Suite and basic advertising
• Experience repurposing content for TikTok and YouTube Shorts
