Software Build Manager

Responsibilities

• Define and oversee release baselines and configuration items across the full software lifecycle
• Standardize and enforce Git-based workflows including branching strategy and merge request governance
• Design, maintain, and harden CI/CD pipelines for reliability and security scanning integration
• Lead establishment of change management processes and documentation
• Create and maintain authoritative documentation for software functional and performance characteristics
• Communicate configuration risk and pipeline health to program leadership and government stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of experience in software CI/CD release engineering (or 8+ years without degree)
• 2+ years of hands-on experience configuring and administering GitLab environments
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby
• Hands-on understanding of DevSecOps practices and pipeline security
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Active DoD SECRET security clearance
• DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification (Security+, SSCP, CND, CCNA Security, or equivalent)
• Experience in RAISE DevOps environments or equivalent cloud delivery platforms
• Experience supporting Authorization to Operate (ATO) activities or RMF documentation
• Prior experience in software development or on a DoD program of record
