Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)(QA)

Job Responsibilities:

• • Manage the entire testing process, including analysing requirements, designing test cases, and automating tests for moderately to highly complex applications.
    • Write and review test automation scripts for Mobile, Web, and Microservices.
    • Troubleshoot and identify the root causes of issues in production or testing environments.
    • When necessary, create and conduct manual tests to find problems that automated tests might miss.
    • Maintain and organize test data for both manual and automated testing.
    • Keep track of and report on test coverage, test execution, and quality metrics.
    • Execute test cases and document any defects found in the issue tracking system.
    • Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) sessions and coordinate meetings to discuss identified issues with business stakeholders.
    • Suggest improvements to processes, technology, infrastructure, and interfaces to enhance the team's efficiency.

Technical Requirements:

• • 3-7 years of experience in Quality Assurance and test automation.
    • Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks for various application types (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Postman, JUnit, TestNG)
    • Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#) for test automation scripting.
    • Proficiency in using tools like Azure tools and CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment).
    • Have some automated testing experience (as we want to implement that)
    • Experience on writing test scripts, executions, test reports
    • Familiar with scrum process
    • Familiar with microservices architecture, having separate frontend and backend team in development.
    • Have experience with both web application and mobile application testing.
    • Familiar with Microsoft tech stacks - .NET, MS SQL Server, and also JS tech stacks - Angular, also Flutter

Soft skills:

• • Strong written and verbal communication skills for documenting test cases, defects, and reporting to team members and stakeholders.
    • Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and identify the root causes of issues in both testing and production environments.
    • Ability to Analyse complex requirements and translate them into effective test cases.
    • A keen eye for detail to identify issues and defects in software applications.
    • Proactive attitude toward suggesting and implementing process, technology, and infrastructure improvements to enhance testing efficiency.
    • Effective time management skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic testing environment.
