Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end test automation for Blazor WebAssembly front end using Playwright
• Build and maintain API test coverage for .NET Core back-end APIs and Azure Function apps
• Establish mobile test automation for .NET MAUI applications on iOS and Android
• Leverage Claude Enterprise to generate, refactor, and maintain test scripts
• Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines with clear reporting
• Track and report quality metrics such as escaped defects and coverage
• Partner with developers to ensure testability in design and code reviews
• Perform targeted exploratory testing for new features and edge cases

Requirements

• 4+ years in test automation, SDET, or software engineering roles
• Strong C#/.NET skills
• Hands-on experience with modern UI automation frameworks like Playwright or Selenium
• Experience building API-level test suites (REST, integration testing)
• Experience wiring test automation into CI/CD pipelines
• Comfort using AI tools like Claude or Copilot in your workflow
• Ability to work self-directedly on a small team

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience testing Blazor applications (bUnit)
• Mobile automation experience (Appium, .NET MAUI)
• Experience testing authentication/authorization flows (OAuth, OIDC)
• Healthcare industry experience and familiarity with HIPAA
• Performance or load testing experience
• Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines
