Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own meaningful technical work end-to-end, from design through deployment
• Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and data pipelines
• Collaborate with researchers and ML engineers to ship high-impact features
• Contribute to architectural decisions and write clean, well-tested, well-documented code
• Debug and resolve issues across complex distributed systems
• Participate in code reviews to help raise the technical bar

Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience
• Proficiency in Python
• Fluency in at least one additional language such as TypeScript, Go, Rust, or SQL
• Experience working in production environments with real users
• Strong communication skills and ability to operate autonomously in ambiguous environments
• Genuine interest in AI, LLMs, or data-driven systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience at an AI, ML, or data company
• Familiarity with LLM training, fine-tuning, or RLHF pipelines
• Experience with large-scale data pipelines or annotation platforms
• Open-source contributions or published technical writing
• Background working alongside AI research teams
