Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the high-reliability infrastructure that processes billions in annual transaction volume
• Investigate and resolve issues across payment processing and reconciliation systems
• Improve test coverage and automation to ensure platform stability
• Tackle fixes and improvements to maintain a high-reliability payments platform
• Collaborate with a global team to design scalable, secure, and compliant payment solutions

Requirements

• 2+ years of PHP or Java web application software engineering experience
• Solid working knowledge of MySQL or PostgreSQL, including efficient queries and indexing
• Experience working with external APIs and navigating technical documentation
• Familiarity with modern infrastructure tooling (e.g., DataDog, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, Docker, or AWS)
• Strong ownership mindset and commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in payments, fintech, or domains requiring high transaction accuracy
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as PCI-DSS or GDPR
• Exposure to event-driven architectures or microservices
• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) concepts
• Experience in the hospitality or travel industry
