Software Engineer, Frontend Lead

Responsibilities

• Own and architect the frontend for a C2 system directing swarms of heterogeneous aircraft
• Build real-time, collaborative interfaces for controlling large numbers of aircraft simultaneously
• Design and ship new UI concepts for representing vehicle telemetry, sensor data, and scheduling
• Set the frontend architecture, patterns, and standards for the team
• Ship early and often with strong CI/CD, QA, and DevSecOps

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 8+ years building complex, production frontend applications
• Elite UI/UX instincts
• Deep experience building production web interfaces with React or a comparable modern framework
• Experience mentoring engineers and setting technical direction

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with both immediate mode and retained mode UI paradigms
• Track record with performance-sensitive application development
• Familiarity with video streaming protocols
• WebGL/OpenGL experience
• Experience with geospatial applications
