Job description

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code using C++ and Blueprints
  • Prototype new mechanics and combat characters within Unreal Engine 5
  • Develop and test feature prototypes using StateTree, GAS, and Animation Blueprints (ABP)
  • Collaborate closely with game designers to create engaging enemies and gameplay mechanics
  • Utilize existing game systems and development approaches to ensure project consistency and effective teamwork

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in C++ and hands-on experience developing gameplay in Unreal Engine 5
  • Practical experience with StateTree, Behavior Tree, GAS, and Animation Blueprints
  • Proven ability to prototype and implement combat mechanics and gameplay systems from concept through in-engine tuning
  • Solid understanding of game system architecture and the ability to write clean, scalable, and maintainable code
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams alongside designers, animators, and artists to integrate mechanics into production pipelines
