Software Engineer, Go

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable Go services and APIs that power our global SaaS platform
• Contribute to technical design and architecture discussions to balance speed and maintainability
• Write concurrent, performant Go code utilizing goroutines, channels, and context
• Integrate with third-party APIs, telemetry systems, and network infrastructure
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality features
• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code while participating in active code reviews
• Identify and resolve performance, reliability, and scalability issues
• Participate in on-call rotations and contribute to operational excellence

Requirements

• 2 to 4 years of professional software engineering experience building back-end services
• Proficiency in Go, or strong experience in another back-end language with a desire to master Go
• Experience building and consuming RESTful or event-driven APIs
• Familiarity with containerized environments and Kubernetes
• Understanding of relational and non-relational databases and data modeling
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to OpenSearch or other search and analytics workloads
• Familiarity with workflow orchestration engines like Temporal or Camunda
• Working knowledge of Python for tooling or scripting
• Exposure to gRPC and Protocol Buffers
• Interest in networking concepts such as SD-WAN, VoIP, BGP, or MPLS
• Prior experience working on a remote, distributed engineering team
