Software Engineer - Infrastructure

About the Company

Vesta is the next-generation system of record designed to power the multi-trillion dollar mortgage market. Founded by former Blend employees, Vesta is building a modern, open, and automated origination experience to transform the antiquated mortgage industry.

Responsibilities

• Scale and mature Vesta’s infrastructure to support the mortgage market reliably, securely, and efficiently
• Build foundational systems that power engineering velocity and platform reliability
• Develop cloud architecture, deployment systems, and observability tools
• Manage incident response and internal developer tooling

Requirements

• Experience with strongly typed programming languages (e.g., C#, Go)
• Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases, including indexing and performance tuning
• Proficiency with Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker
• Experience with major cloud providers (AWS, GCP) and Terraform

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS, Linux, or Ansible
• Experience with Kafka, Redis, or OpenSearch
• Background in performance engineering
