Software Engineer Intern

About the Company

Alpheya is a B2B WealthTech startup based in Abu Dhabi, backed by BNY Mellon and Lunate. The company is building a state-of-the-art wealth technology platform to enable financial institutions in the Middle East to serve affluent and UHNW investor segments.

Responsibilities

• Learn and contribute to software development across the technology stack through hands-on projects
• Collaborate with experienced engineers to understand best practices
• Write clean, documented code under the guidance of senior team members
• Participate in code reviews and assist in testing and debugging applications
• Document work and contribute to technical documentation
• Participate in team meetings and agile ceremonies

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
• Basic programming knowledge in a modern language
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Basic understanding of version control systems like Git
• Must be a UAE National

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Go
• Previous project experience (personal, academic, or professional)
• Interest in fintech, banking, or wealth management
