About the Company

Monarch is a powerful, all-in-one personal finance platform designed to help make the complexity of finances feel simple again. We are a fully remote company of do-ers led by experienced entrepreneurs who are passionate about helping our members reach their financial goals.

Responsibilities

  • Build and improve core features across web and mobile platforms
  • Work within specialized pods such as Core Product, Growth, Aggregation, Infra/Platform, Security, or RevX
  • Collaborate across the entire stack to deliver high-caliber products
  • Work autonomously in a remote, asynchronous environment
  • Share knowledge through documentation and mentoring

Requirements

  • Product-centric mindset with a passion for user experience
  • Experience with React, TypeScript, or React Native
  • Experience with Python, Django, or GraphQL
  • Familiarity with AWS, Terraform, Docker, or CI/CD
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a remote setting
  • Comfort with autonomy and ambiguity

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Apollo (GraphQL) for API requests
  • Experience with PostgreSQL or Redis
  • Experience with ECS or EC2
  • Experience with Circle CI
