Vesta is rebuilding the mortgage LOS from the ground up. Our AI-augmented platform aims to transform the mortgage industry by creating a fully automated origination experience. Backed by $55M from investors like Andreessen Horowitz and Bain Capital Ventures, we are building the infrastructure that will power the future of finance.

Responsibilities

• Scale and mature the platform to handle the entire mortgage market
• Work across the entire codebase to build products from the ground up
• Help set technical guidelines and frameworks for the engineering organization
• Contribute to technical tooling and organizational growth
• Take ownership of mission-critical work in an early-stage startup environment

Requirements

• Deep experience scaling distributed systems with complex data dependencies
• Strong proficiency with C# or other statically typed languages (Kotlin, Go, or Java)
• Experience with performance engineering in domains such as AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Redis, or Elasticsearch
• Familiarity with observability tools like Datadog
• Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform
• Ability to work in an early-stage startup environment where mission-critical work may occasionally require extra effort
