Responsibilities

• Develop flexible, maintainable solutions using guidelines, requirements, and standard practices
• Solve development problems through good design and practical experience
• Review, modify, enhance, and maintain existing systems by fixing issues and remediating security vulnerabilities
• Participate in planning and user story analysis
• Implement technical solutions based on solid design principles and best practices
• Document software changes, best practices, and standards
• Mentor and teach other software engineers
• Plan and prioritize for a team of developers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of experience in a professional technical environment
• 6+ years of professional software design and development experience
• Knowledge of the software development lifecycle (Agile/Lean or Kanban preferred)
• Proficiency in technologies such as .NET, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Entity Framework, JavaScript, HTML, or CSS
• Experience with source control tools like Git or Team Foundation Server
• Strong written and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, or Git
• Cloud development experience with Azure or AWS
