Software Engineer/Team Lead

Responsibilities

• Set technical direction and make architecture and tradeoff decisions for the Code Plane team
• Drive the product roadmap from initial concept to shipping
• Translate customer needs and product input into concrete technical plans
• Mentor teammates and strengthen engineering practices regarding design, review, and testing
• Partner with Product, Design, and Customer Engineering to turn customer pain into shipped products
• Participate in the team's on-call support rotation

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Proven experience building end-user product features (developer tools, AI products, or CLIs)
• Experience shipping products consumed by or built for AI agents
• Hands-on experience using and reasoning about coding agents (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor)
• Experience partnering with Product and Design to incorporate customer feedback into roadmaps
• Experience in customer-facing roles such as discovery calls or design partnerships
• Strong async-first communication skills for a globally distributed remote team

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Go, TypeScript, React, SvelteKit, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, Docker, or Kubernetes
• Experience with code intelligence, code search, or large-scale code transformation tools
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, or security scanning products
• Experience designing and shipping CLIs
• Previous experience as a Team or Tech Lead
