Job description

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end QA strategy, including test planning, automation, performance, and release validation
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web, mobile, and backend systems
  • Lead, mentor, and coach QA engineers by providing technical guidance and career development support
  • Integrate automated testing pipelines within CI/CD processes to enable continuous delivery
  • Drive performance, load, and security testing strategies to ensure system reliability
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams to ensure product requirements are testable and aligned with quality objectives
  • Lead defect triage meetings and coordinate release testing to ensure timely resolution and risk reporting

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
  • 6–10 years of experience in software testing, with at least 3 years in a QA leadership role
  • Strong hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language, including Java, Python, or JavaScript
  • Experience integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps)
  • Strong knowledge of API and backend testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured
  • Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or k6
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
