Software Quality Operations Specialist

Responsibilities

• Partner with Engineering to design, test, and deploy Machine Learning and Generative AI models for issue discovery and triage efficiency
• Leverage AI-powered insights to identify emerging on-road issue trends and edge cases
• Define and document new policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for vendor workflows
• Design and implement quality control processes for human and AI-generated outputs
• Act as a subject matter expert for Software Quality Operations, providing technical leadership and consultation to partners
• Identify and escalate tool issues and provide technical requirements to engineering teams

Requirements

• BS/BA degree or 4 years of relevant work experience in AV Software Quality Operations
• Competency in supporting machine learning development lifecycles (data preparation, training, validation, deployment, monitoring)
• Experience with ML testing and validation, including dataset QA, bias detection, and performance evaluation
• Experience with driving rules and regulations
• Ability to solve problems and make data-informed decisions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with offshore teams or multiple local operations hubs
• Basic SQL querying skills
• Competency in LLM, transformer models, or ML for robotics
• Experience in results analysis and direct customer consultation
• Basic task planning skills
