Software Solutions Engineer

About the Company

Vector builds mobile and web technology that makes freight move faster. Our platform is used by warehouses, distribution centers, and carriers to streamline check-ins, appointments, dock scheduling, and driver workflows.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customer business and technical resources to understand project goals and success criteria
• Build workflows and automate tasks using scripting languages, JSON, and internal tools
• Setup and configure Vector according to customer business and technical needs
• Triage deployment or integration issues quickly
• Drive technical discovery sessions to deliver integration solutions
• Coordinate project implementation plans, timelines, and schedules
• Gather customer product feedback and communicate with product management and engineering
• Act as the voice of the customer internally to prioritize product improvements

Requirements

• Previous experience in software engineering, web development, client consulting, or technical implementation
• Ability to implement SaaS applications using SQL and JavaScript
• Strong communication skills for guidance via email, phone, or in person
• Excellent organization, project management, and time management skills
• Ability to translate business processes into enterprise application implementations
• Willingness to perform occasional travel for on-site customer engagement
