Software Tester

Responsibilities

• Design independent web test cases for each newly developed web application
• Provide feedback to developers regarding automated testing strategies, design fixes, and patches
• Perform system load tests for new products to ensure stability
• Manage and train apprentices, junior testers, and new developers
• Work with quality technicians to document quality processes for replication across locations
• Manage testing projects during each phase of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Suggest improvements to the functionality, design, and usability of new products

Requirements

• Proven experience working as a Software Tester
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Hands-on experience with functional, integration, regression, mobile, big data, and cross-platform testing
• Experience with security, performance, UI/UX, and A/B testing
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• TMap, ISEB, or ISTQB certification
• Up-to-date knowledge of the latest testing developments and industry trends
