Solar Inspections Tech Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily inspection operations across multiple markets
• Ensure projects are inspection-ready prior to AHJ and utility inspections
• Manage, coach, and develop inspection schedulers, technicians, and support personnel
• Monitor inspection pass rates and implement quality control standards
• Establish and track KPIs related to inspection performance and cycle times
• Partner with permitting, installation, electrical, and sales teams to maintain project flow
• Communicate with AHJs, inspectors, and utility providers

Requirements

• Previous residential solar inspection experience
• Previous leadership or management experience
• Strong understanding of residential solar construction, permitting, and inspections
• Experience working with AHJs and utility providers
• Proficiency with CRMs and scheduling platforms
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous Inspection Manager or Operations Manager experience
• Electrical, permitting, or quality control background
• NABCEP certification
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
• Experience supporting multi-state solar operations
