Solidity Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and test Solidity smart contracts for data tokenization, licensing, and pricing workflows
• Develop robust on-chain data structures to represent enterprise datasets, metadata, and access conditions
• Architect marketplace and exchange primitives including order books, escrow, dispute resolution, and royalties
• Integrate pricing logic grounded in financial derivatives
• Optimize gas efficiency and ensure upgradability using proxies or modular contracts
• Collaborate with auditors and internal security teams to harden contracts against vulnerabilities
• Work cross-functionally with product and protocol teams to define new features and mechanisms

Requirements

• 3+ years of Solidity development experience
• Proven understanding of EVM architecture, smart contract security, and gas optimization
• Experience building or contributing to Web3 exchanges, NFT marketplaces, or DeFi protocols
• Deep familiarity with data modeling and complex storage patterns
• Knowledge of token standards (ERC20, ERC721, ERC1155, ERC4626)
• Exposure to pricing mechanisms like dynamic pricing curves or auctions
• Proficiency with Hardhat, Foundry, Tenderly, Chai, or Waffle

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in quantitative finance or information theory
• Experience with cross-chain messaging or bridging technologies
• Contributions to open-source Ethereum projects
• Interest in AI workflows, data provenance, or zero-knowledge cryptography
