Solutions Architect

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering solutions and explain technologies to customers
• Gather requirements and propose solutions including hardware, software, and Business Continuity services
• Develop scalable solutions for DC, LAN, WAN, WLAN, Firewalls, and other network devices
• Design scalable solutions for physical and virtualized compute and storage
• Assess and design on-prem to Cloud (Azure/AWS) migration solutions
• Prepare statements of work (SOW), level of effort, and bill of materials (BOM)
• Provide oversight for configuration, installation, and maintenance
• Train deployment and field engineers for on-site deployment and troubleshooting

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience with enterprise-level design and deployment of Hypervisors, networking, SAN, NAS, and BCDR
• 5+ years of experience with Azure IaaS including migrations and optimizations
• 5+ years of experience with Cloud Networking services
• Bachelor's degree in a related technical or business area
• Proficiency in routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, MP-BGP, IS-IS)
• Experience with Cisco Nexus and Catalyst platforms
• Ability to communicate effectively with customer contacts

Preferred Qualifications

• Cisco certifications (CCNP, CCDP, or CCIE)
• Broadcom VMware sales and technical certification
• Microsoft Certified: AZ-800/801 or AZ-802
• Datto: Kaseya Certified Expert (KCE)
• Veeam: VMCE+
