About the Company

Mach9 builds software that transforms reality capture datasets into high-precision 3D maps, accelerating how teams model and understand the world. Its flagship product, Digital Surveyor, automatically extracts features like utility poles, signs, curbs, striping and more from LiDAR and imagery datasets to create engineering-ready GIS and CAD deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Provide geospatial and survey expertise on sales calls alongside Account Executives
• Run and tailor technical product demonstrations for prospects across different verticals
• Own the technical evaluation process and help customers integrate project data into Mach9
• Lead customer onboarding and training through remote and onsite sessions
• Act as a long-term technical advisor for customers to support evolving use cases
• Represent Mach9 at trade shows, conferences, and webinars
• Partner with Marketing on industry content, positioning, and sales materials
• Support Engineering and Product teams as an internal geospatial expert to shape the product roadmap
• Build and maintain onboarding frameworks and technical documentation

Requirements

• 10+ years of surveying or geospatial experience
• Expertise in LiDAR data collection and feature extraction
• Proven track record of driving technology adoption at engineering or surveying firms
• Proficiency with CAD and GIS platforms such as Bentley Microstation, Autodesk Civil 3D, or Esri ArcGIS
• Familiarity with major surveying hardware and industry trends
• Strong understanding of survey data formats and AEC industry workflows
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Consultative mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
