Solutions Development Architect

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions to gather project requirements, site details, and business objectives
• Develop scalable infrastructure solutions across data center, network, structured cabling, and cloud environments
• Create and maintain Statements of Work (SOW), including deliverables, assumptions, and project phases
• Generate labor calculators and SOW drafts using internal automation tools
• Manage assigned cases through the Salesforce workflow from discovery to client sign-off
• Produce technical diagrams, rack elevations, cabling layouts, and architecture diagrams
• Partner with Sales, Engineering, and PMO to confirm solution feasibility and pricing
• Support RFP/RFI/RFQ responses and technical proposal development

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in solutions architecture, pre-sales engineering, or infrastructure engineering
• Strong experience developing SOWs, technical proposals, and labor estimates
• Hands-on knowledge of data center infrastructure, structured cabling, and network infrastructure
• Ability to interpret technical documentation like floor plans and rack elevations
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems
• Proficiency with SharePoint, Microsoft Office, Visio, and Lucidchart
• Must be based in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud/hybrid infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP, VMware)
• Experience with AV, VoIP, IoT, or security infrastructure
• Experience supporting enterprise, healthcare, or financial services environments
• Technical certifications such as BICSI, RCDD, PMP, CSM, AWS, or VMware
