Solutions Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support modernization of the data ecosystem and transition from DHIC to CDA architecture
• Build consolidated data assets combining Guidewire with legacy P&C mainframe systems
• Anticipate IT industry directions and relate them to evolving enterprise data architecture
• Develop, specify, and communicate technology architecture applicable to the domain
• Provide project management leadership for technical projects
• Work on Guidewire data integration, P&C reporting solutions, and legacy system data consolidation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
• 4-6 years of IT work experience across multiple areas
• 1-2 years of project management experience
• Experience with Guidewire CDA and DHIC frameworks
• Strong experience with Guidewire platforms (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter) and data models
• Strong working knowledge of database design and advanced SQL development
• Strong working knowledge of SDLC and Project Life Cycle principles
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Snowflake data platform and cloud data warehousing
• Experience with dbt (data build tool)
• Industry certifications
