Solutions Engineer — R&D Mission Platforms

Responsibilities

• Support technical demos, R&D events, and mission-focused engagements
• Translate customer and mission feedback into actionable technical requirements
• Bridge the gap between operational needs and software/platform implementation
• Assist with technical implementation, configuration, integration, and validation of prototype capabilities
• Collaborate with engineers to test and refine software in cloud-native or containerized environments
• Explain technical concepts and system behavior to both technical and non-technical audiences

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship required
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance
• Background in solutions engineering, software development, systems engineering, or DevSecOps
• Experience collaborating with engineering teams to deliver cloud or platform capabilities
• Familiarity with APIs, cloud services, containers, and modern software delivery approaches
• Willingness to travel approximately 15% for R&D events and demos

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance or higher
• Experience with DoD, Air Force, or defense software initiatives
• Hands-on skills with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Go, FastAPI, Postgres, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, or CI/CD tooling
• Exposure to AI-enabled systems, LLMs, or autonomy technologies
