Sourcing Manager

Responsibilities

• Source and develop a collection of furniture and decor focused on transportability and compact design
• Identify manufacturers specializing in vacuum-packed/roll-packed sofas and hybrid structures
• Research "flat-pack" decor and small furniture such as side tables, shelves, and lighting
• Collaborate with factories on product engineering, including foam density, structural resistance, and assembly ease
• Negotiate costs with industrial partners and conduct quality control for decompression recovery tests

Requirements

• Proven experience in industrial sourcing for the furniture industry
• Strong network of furniture manufacturers (Europe/International) specializing in compression and optimized packaging
• Deep knowledge of materials including high-resilience (HR) foams, wood/metal structures, and resins
• Strong understanding of logistics and transport volume optimization
• Ability to source high-end design pieces rather than standard flat-pack furniture
