Spanish-English Interpreter

Responsibilities

• Answer calls or video sessions professionally following the Interpreter’s Code of Conduct
• Accurately interpret conversations while maintaining neutrality and confidentiality
• Use specialized terminology, with a primary focus on medical and healthcare industries
• Take clear notes during sessions to ensure accuracy
• Participate in internal professional training and pursue new certifications
• Report to the Team Leader as required

Requirements

• Bilingual or native-level proficiency in both English and Spanish
• Minimum of 1 year of professional interpreting experience
• Strong command of medical terminology
• High emotional intelligence and cultural sensitivity
• Windows 10+ (Intel 6th Gen or equivalent) or macOS Monterey 12.5+ with minimum 8GB RAM
• Mandatory Ethernet connection (Wi-Fi and satellite-based connections are not allowed)
• USB noise-canceling headset (no 3.5mm jack or Bluetooth)
• 1080p resolution webcam for video sessions

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional interpreter certification
