Special Assets Account Executive Sr

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned portfolio of Classified loans and provide support to Special Assets Group leaders
• Identify exit and recovery strategies to ensure relationships meet corporate standards for risk and profitability
• Take timely action to minimize client losses and adhere to budgeted standards
• Assist with the restructuring and liquidation of distressed loans
• Ensure accurate reporting of asset quality, impairment, and charge-offs
• Monitor collateral values and ensure compliance with loan covenants and regulatory requirements
• Implement workout action plans including forbearance agreements, legal actions, and bankruptcy proceedings
• Manage portfolio through continuous monitoring of client financial conditions and industry trends

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience
• 5+ years of experience in commercial banking or credit risk
• Specialized experience in special assets management
• Proven experience in collection, loan restructuring, and workout processes
• Thorough knowledge of banking regulations and compliance
• Project management experience related to workouts
• Experience with Alternative Energy workouts (Solar, Battery, RNG)
• Experience with SBA and USDA workouts
