Responsibilities
- Champion the quality and integrity of Special Education documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Monitor compliance timelines, data, and reporting to identify risks and trends.
- Review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), evaluations, and related documentation for quality and consistency.
- Conduct routine documentation audits and provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Maintain knowledge of Special Education laws and regulations across assigned states.
- Reconcile documentation across company systems including IEP platforms and student information systems.
- Coordinate assessment accommodations and validate student needs within testing platforms.
- Review related service provider billing for accuracy and compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education (required)
- Minimum of two years of professional experience, including special education
- Proficiency in writing and utilizing IEP documentation
- Advanced skills in professional software such as Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel
- Ability to obtain certifications in Arizona, Colorado, Washington, and other assigned states
- Ability to pass required background checks
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Special Education
- Minimum of one year of experience utilizing SPED/IEP software (e.g., eIEPPro, Frontline, Enrich)
