Responsibilities

• Build daily connections with students to maintain motivation and engagement
• Write, review, and maintain compliant IEP documentation
• Personalize educational experiences using curriculum to meet IEP goals
• Monitor student progress and launch timely interventions for disengaged learners
• Coordinate with teachers to implement accommodations and provide meaningful feedback
• Prepare for, schedule, and chair IEP meetings
• Maintain meticulous records to meet state and federal Special Education requirements
• Support proctoring during testing windows, including occasional travel

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education
• Valid teacher certification and approved teacher preparation program
• Ability to obtain certifications in Arizona, Colorado, Washington, and other assigned states
• Ability to pass required background checks
• Proficiency with Mac OS, Google Workspace, and learning management systems
• Ability to work a fixed schedule of 8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m. Mountain Time

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of special education experience
• 2+ years of online teaching experience
• Proficiency in IEP documentation software such as e-IEP Pro or Enrich
