Specialist, CDD Operations (KYB)

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive reviews of incoming customer onboarding cases to ensure KYB principles align with company policy and risk assessment
• Review KYB documents from customers using validation tools and reputable sources to verify AML documentation
• Request appropriate CDD/EDD documents from customers to complete AML onboarding in line with policies and procedures
• Follow up on pending CDD/EDD requests, ensuring timely communication within SLA guidelines
• Investigate matches generated by customer screening applications, including sanctions, PEPs, and adverse media, ensuring appropriate action is taken
• Provide information to management regarding AML/CDD issues as they arise
• Maintain high quality service to customers and other departments, escalating queries as needed
• Support enhancement and maintenance of CDD function and procedures
• Manage specific projects as assigned

Requirements

• Completion of tertiary higher education (e.g., Higher Diploma, Degree, or higher)
• At least 2 years' experience in AML and CDD/EDD review or KYC domain
• Strong team player
• Excellent communication and writing skills, with high attention to detail
• Excellent command of spoken and written English
