Specialist Rheumatologist

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients presenting with rheumatological complaints through detailed history-taking and clinical examination
• Order and interpret relevant diagnostic investigations including laboratory tests and imaging studies
• Diagnose and manage rheumatic diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, and ankylosing spondylitis
• Develop and implement individualized patient treatment plans based on clinical findings and current best practices
• Monitor patient outcomes and adjust therapies to optimize treatment effectiveness and safety
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the hospital to ensure integrated care delivery
• Participate in hospital programs, training, and community outreach initiatives

Requirements

• Proven experience in managing a wide range of rheumatologic conditions in a clinical setting
• Strong understanding of evidence-based rheumatology treatment protocols and government healthcare regulations
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams in a public hospital environment
• Excellent communication and patient management skills suitable for diverse patient populations
• Commitment to public service and community health improvement
• Willingness to participate in continued medical education and hospital initiatives
