Speech Language Pathologist

Blackbird Health is clinician-founded, owned, and operated by dedicated professionals. We deliver virtual and in-person mental health services across Pennsylvania, Virginia, and New Jersey, using a whole-child approach to address the root causes of developmental challenges.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based speech and language diagnostic clinical evaluations
• Complete a minimum of 6 comprehensive evaluations per week
• Complete all necessary clinical documentation and evaluation reports accurately and timely
• Make appropriate recommendations and referrals for therapy goals and services
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of behavioral health clinicians and CRNPs
• Participate in weekly team meetings to provide clinical and administrative insights
• Maintain a clinical schedule focused on weekday evaluations after 3:00 PM EST and/or weekend evaluations

Requirements

• Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid state license in Pennsylvania, Virginia, Maryland, or New Jersey
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
• At least two years of experience in pediatric or multidisciplinary settings
• Proficiency in navigating electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Ability to maintain strict HIPAA confidentiality

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with telehealth and virtual evaluations
