Sr. Director, Commercial Sourcing Operations

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing and supplier management for deployment infrastructure and hardware ecosystem
• Align procurement strategies with growth targets, capital deployment, and public company performance
• Define and execute global sourcing strategy for infrastructure equipment and services
• Partner with Engineering teams on design-for-cost and manufacturing of EV charging stations
• Establish supplier governance models including KPIs, scorecards, and quarterly business reviews
• Manage supply risks, component shortages, and regulatory impacts like Buy America requirements
• Drive procurement-driven cost targets including BOM reduction and CapEx efficiency
• Lead and develop a high-performing sourcing organization through subordinate directors and managers

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree
• Or 8 years of experience with a Master's degree
• Or PhD with 5 years of experience
• Deep expertise in OEM, ODM, and contract manufacturing sourcing models
• Proven experience in a publicly traded company environment
• Ability to travel up to 30% for supplier engagements and meetings

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Business Administration
• Master's or MBA strongly preferred
• APICS CSCP or ISM CPSM certification
• Experience in EV infrastructure, energy systems, automotive, or industrial equipment industries
• Familiarity with Buy America and ESG-linked sourcing standards
