Sr. Interior Designer

Responsibilities

• Lead interior design projects from concept through completion
• Define project requirements, scopes and schedules during briefs
• Translate client needs into schematic plans and layouts
• Prepare cost estimates, set project fees and manage budgets
• Research and specify materials, finishes and FF&E
• Produce sample boards, mood boards and presentation materials
• Supervise site progress and coordinate with contractors
• Liaise closely with designers, decorators, architects and stakeholders
• Keep up to date with industry best practices, codes and trends

Requirements

• Proven experience in interior design
• Interior Design Degree
• AutoCAD
• SketchUp
• 3D Max
• Illustrator
• Space Planning
• Material Selection
• Lighting Design
• Project Management
• Portfolio
• Presentation Skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with educational facility projects
• Previous work with multi-location or international clients
• Familiarity with FF&E procurement and vendor coordination
• Spouse visa preferred (facilitates employment status)
