Sr. Manager, Email Security Engineering

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale a team of high-performing engineers, providing mentorship and career development
• Own the delivery and execution of the Email Security roadmap, ensuring high velocity without compromising on quality or reliability
• Drive architectural decisions for complex, high-throughput distributed systems and platforms
• Partner cross-functionally with Product and Security teams to align technical strategy with customer needs
• Foster a culture of operational excellence, overseeing oncall rotations, incident response, and system health

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a strong IC in distributed systems or backend infrastructure
• Proven track record of transitioning into successful engineering management
• Experience managing teams of engineers in a high-scale, high-growth environment
• Strong product sense and ability to translate technical constraints into product tradeoffs
• Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional partners
• Startup agility with a low-ego, "roll-up-your-sleeves" attitude
