Staff Accountant

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned accounting responsibilities daily
• Perform daily bank reconciliations
• Create and enter journal entries into the accounting platform
• Complete account reconciliations and manage select ledger accounts across multiple entities
• Analyze general ledger transactions and accounts using technical judgment
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Prepare information for and assist with financial audits and reviews
• Help develop internal processes to improve financial reporting
• Maintain organized records and perform other financial or administrative tasks
• Work with other departments to determine workflows and resolve issues
• Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis for inter-departmental or vendor projects

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant work experience in accounting or financial reporting
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred
• Working knowledge of GAAP, PCAOB, and SOX standards
• Proficiency in Excel including vlookups, SumIF, IFAND, and pivot tables
• Experience with Sage Intacct and FloQast
