Staff Analytics Engineer

Responsibilities

• Articulate with different areas to understand business needs and present the best data modeling solutions
• Abstract business concepts into quantitative metrics (KPIs, OKRs, etc.)
• Model and architect data for analytical purposes following best practices, including data quality and documentation
• Orchestrate workflows related to data pipelines

Requirements

• Experience with implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of data pipelines
• Advanced SQL
• Experience with analytical data modeling (star schema, snowflake, and data vault)
• Knowledge of architecture techniques for analytical purposes (Data Mart, Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Mesh, etc.)
• Knowledge of data visualization tools (Looker, Metabase, Power BI, etc.)
• Strong communication skills to deal with technical and business stakeholders
• Experience with workflow orchestration using Airflow, Luigi, Azkaban, DBT, or Dataform
• Knowledge of Python, Scala, Java, or Go
