Responsibilities

• Lead the design and evolution of AI agent systems, establishing patterns and frameworks
• Shape the multi-provider strategy for models like OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google
• Architect tool use and workflow systems enabling agents to call external APIs safely
• Partner with engineering, product, and design teams to align AI initiatives with business objectives
• Establish data and evaluation standards for collecting and analyzing agent response datasets
• Drive research and innovation by staying at the forefront of NLP and LLM research

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Deep expertise in prompt engineering and optimization
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and system design skills
• Proficiency in TypeScript
• Ability to drive high-scope, ambiguous problems to completion
• Experience establishing data-driven evaluation frameworks
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with the DSPy framework
• Machine Learning background and understanding of evaluation metrics
• Experience contributing to open-source AI/ML projects
• Experience implementing techniques from AI/ML research papers
• Experience speaking at conferences or publishing technical content
