Staff Backend Engineer, Conversational AI

Responsibilities

• Own the ideation and execution of high-impact projects influencing user experience and business outcomes
• Evolve the Conversational AI Engineering roadmap alongside product and technical leadership
• Lead project inception, design solutions, and guide implementation and integration efforts
• Ensure platform scalability and performance while working with Data Science to leverage ML models

Requirements

• 7+ years of software development experience in a production environment
• 4+ years of experience in a senior engineering role
• Production experience with Node.js and TypeScript

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing RESTful APIs and backend systems
• Familiarity with GCP, Looker, and BigQuery
• Experience in product development as a key decision maker
