Staff Machine Learning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, train, and deploy machine learning models to detect sensitive data and malicious threats
• Write production-level code to convert ML models into working pipelines
• Architect scalable, reliable, and maintainable machine learning pipelines
• Explore recent advancements in generative AI and LLMs for detection capabilities
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and software engineers to align ML initiatives with business goals
• Contribute to engineering culture through mentorship and code reviews

Requirements

• B.S., M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related technical field
• 8+ years of experience in machine learning or data science (or 6+ years with a Ph.D.)
• At least 3 years in a senior or staff engineering role
• Deep understanding of supervised/unsupervised learning techniques and LLMs
• Strong experience writing efficient data pipelines
• Practical knowledge of end-to-end ML workflows from conception to deployment
• Experience with machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn and Pandas

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in API development using FastAPI
• Experience tracking text embedding modeling
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or GCP
• Experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
