Responsibilities

• Understand customers by working with cross-functional partners to identify and prioritize user problems
• Own projects end to end from problem definition and design thinking to tangible designs and design QA
• Set the vision for the future of Bolt by using tangible designs to drive product direction
• Raise the quality bar on typography, spacing, motion, and visual consistency
• Build and improve design systems to ensure high-quality product launches

Requirements

• Portfolio demonstrating exceptional craft
• Track record of shipping pixel-perfect work at scale in fast-paced environments
• Ability to operate in ambiguous, zero-to-one environments
• Fluency in design systems and building for platform consistency
• Experience partnering with engineering to protect visual fidelity
• Proficiency in using AI tools for personal or professional tasks
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Startup or small team experience
• Experience in shaping AI tools
