Job description

Responsibilities

  • Lead product strategy for Ask Acorns, defining its evolution as an intelligence layer across Acorns and Acorns Early brands
  • Own and drive the Ask Acorns roadmap in partnership with Financial Planning, Financial Products, Families, and Growth teams
  • Partner with design to craft the AI's voice, tone, persona, and edge-case handling
  • Build strategy for AI skills including memory, longitudinal understanding, proactivity, and conversation threading
  • Establish quality and performance bars for latency, reliability, and infrastructure in partnership with engineering
  • Define success metrics and evaluation infrastructure using conversation transcripts and system instrumentation
  • Drive new ways of working to improve the speed and quality of AI product development

Requirements

  • 10+ years of product management experience
  • 2+ years building and shipping conversational AI products
  • Deep understanding of conversational AI systems, including prompt engineering, memory, guardrails, and evals
  • Strong data instincts and ability to analyze performance depth
  • Experience working in regulated environments
  • Ability to define clear product strategy and translate it into actionable roadmaps
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools for prototyping and testing
