Staff Product Manager

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end product roadmap and requirements for the kiosk hardware platform
• Drive the design and manufacturing process through gated development stages (EVT, DVT, PVT)
• Manage relationships with third-party design firms and contract manufacturers
• Define firmware requirements, including diagnostics, telemetry, and OTA updateability
• Partner with operations to interpret field-failure data and drive design interventions
• Monitor hardware quality metrics and make data-driven investment decisions
• Travel to field sites, design firms, and manufacturing locations as required

Requirements

• 8+ years of product management experience with physical or hardware products
• Proven track record of taking hardware from concept through mass production
• Experience managing external industrial design firms and contract manufacturers
• Proficiency across mechanical, electrical, and embedded/firmware domains
• Strong analytical skills to build cost and reliability business cases
• Ability to work remotely within the United States

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with connected or field-deployed hardware such as IoT, kiosks, robotics, or EV charging
• Experience owning hardware/software interfaces and firmware requirements
