Staff Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Direct the daily execution of Application Security and Cloud Security functions
• Architect and deploy defensive controls for LLM and AI-enabled capabilities
• Assess software, services, dependencies, and infrastructure for material weaknesses
• Raise the resilience of the AWS footprint across identity, network, and key management
• Expand automation for cloud assurance using Terraform and CI/CD workflows
• Define secure engineering expectations for design, build, test, and release activities
• Guide authentication and authorization decisions including SAML 2.0, OAuth, and OIDC
• Coordinate with Corporate Security on logging, alerting, and access governance

Requirements

• 8 to 12 years of experience in security engineering
• Substantial hands-on depth in application security and cloud security
• Strong AWS security expertise (IAM, networking, encryption, secrets protection)
• Fluency in backend environments such as Ruby, Node.js, or Java
• Experience in regulated environments like healthcare, finance, or education
• Knowledge of AI security guidance including OWASP Top 10 for LLM Applications
