Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Provision, design and operate scalable infrastructure and platform tooling for production services serving enterprise customers from within the UAE (role based in Dubai; hybrid work supported).
  • Build automated tooling and repeatable processes for environment configuration, deployments, and lifecycle management.
  • Implement and maintain observability: metrics, logs, tracing, SLOs and alerting across services.
  • Lead incident response, post-incident review, and continuous improvement of reliability practices.
  • Drive security and compliance best practices for infrastructure and platform components.
  • Mentor and lead other engineers; provide technical guidance, code reviews and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Several years operating production services at scale (startup or fast-growing environment).
  • Experience designing and maintaining high-availability database solutions (PostgreSQL preferred).
  • Hands-on with Prometheus/Grafana or other observability stacks.
  • Strong systems engineering background with experience in distributed systems and performance tuning.
  • Prior experience running hybrid or multi-region cloud infrastructure.
