Staff Software Engineer, Frontend

Responsibilities

• Set the technical direction for the team and guide frontend engineering vision
• Create delightful user experiences with an eye towards performance and accessibility
• Build reusable components, write unit & integration tests, and raise code quality
• Lead the architecting of important systems and anticipate scaling challenges
• Design, build, and improve core frontend infrastructure
• Act as a player-coach and mentor other engineers on the team

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience writing production software
• Must live between GMT-8 and GMT-5 timezones
• Advanced knowledge of React and TypeScript

Preferred Qualifications

• Public contributions to open source projects
• Experience with Next.js and GraphQL
• Full-stack experience with Node.js
